About Marc Bachraty:
Marc Bachraty is one of the 3 top Christian Tissier students, along with Bruno Gonzalez and Pascal Guillemin. They are the 3 uke you can see in most of the Bercy-videos on YouTube (see video links further down). He has taught regularily at Cercle Tissier in Paris, and now dedicates his efforts to further develop his own dojo in Clamart (South of Paris) and to giving seminars all over France and Europe.
Many say he is a very gifted practitioner, but he rejects the term preferring dedicated attention to technical work. Demanding but attentive, generous and giving, he has developed an aikido that is rigorous, dynamic, fluid and aesthetic, all the while remaining a down to earth and warm person who shares a lot, both on and off the mats.
Marc Bachraty started aikido as a 16-year old in 1985, and quickly discovered both Endo Sensei and Christian Tissier, obtaining his 6th dan Aikikai in 2017. He also has a background in judo, Okinawa Goju-ryu karate and Tai Chi Chuan. In 1996, Marc Bachraty started his own dojo in Clamart, in Southern Paris : http://www.acama.org/
Welcome!
