Two days of Taijutsu and Bukiwaza Practice with Ulf Evenas shihan.



Ulf Evenås Shihan (7th dan Aikikai) is one of the most qualified and experienced Aikido instructors in the world, having conducted around 800 seminars in over 20 different countries. The International Aikido Federation (IAF) uses Ulf Evenås as their representing Shihan, technical coordinator and demonstrator in major events such as IAF's Congresses and World Combat Games.



At this seminar, Ulf Sensei will teach ken and jo, as described by Morihiro Saito Shihan in the five Mokuroku (transmission scrolls). We will also practice Taijutsu from basic to advanced forms and explore the relationship between ken, jo and taijutsu.

Do not forget to bring your ken and jo. International attendees can be provided with weapons by request.



This seminar is open to all Aikido practitioners aged 16 years and over, regardless of Aikido style or rank.

by Bus (about 2h)

1. Take bus 101 to Drogheda (Fare €5.20) and get off at Balbriggan Community College stop (ask driver to stop near Balbriggan train station). Walk to 300m to the Railway str. and get on bus 195 to Ashbourne. Ask driver to stop at Dublin School of Judo.

2. Take bus 109A to Navan (Fare €4.80). Get off at Ashbourne (Johns Wood) stop get on bus 195 to Balbriggan. Ask driver to stop at Dublin School of Judo.
