Information: Our Monthly Koshukai focuses on a different theme, allowing participants to practice in depth.



With detailed explanations and demonstrations from the instructor, each participant will have the chance to fully understand and internalize the practice through direct experience.



Beginners can build a solid foundation, while experienced practitioners can review areas for improvement and experience further growth.



Participation is open to everyone, not only Samsungdang members.



【September Class Theme & Structure】

Theme: Nikyo (Second Control) – Using Frames, Not Pain



Session 1 (13:00–14:15)

- Origins of Nikyo

- Understanding the Nikyo grip

- Nikyo drills

- Key points for finishing Nikyo



Session 2 (14:30–15:30)

- Ai-hanmi Katatedori Nikyo (same-side wrist grab, Nikyo): sword & body movement

- Gyaku-hanmi Katatedori Nikyo (opposite-side wrist grab, Nikyo)

- Katadori Nikyo (shoulder grab, Nikyo)

- Q&A



※ What to bring: Dogi (uniform), towel, personal snacks & drinks

※ Eligibility: Open to all (non-Aikido practitioners also welcome, dogi required)

※ Fee: 20,000 KRW

1. Participants must be 19 years of age or older.

2. Please arrive at Samsungdang by 12:30 (30 minutes before class begins). Late arrivals will observe the first session and may only participate in the second session. This is to ensure smooth practice and safety—thank you for your understanding.
