Leonardo Sodré Medellín 2026

Information: The Haru Ichiban Aikido community in Medellín, Colombia, together with Kizuna Dojo, is pleased to invite aikido practitioners from across Latin America and around the world to the International Aikido Seminar with Leonardo Sodré Sensei (6th Dan Aikikai), to be held October 2–4, 2026 in Medellín, Colombia.

Leonardo Sodré Sensei is the founder of Seimeikan Dojo in São Paulo, Brazil, and has been teaching internationally for many years. His seminars are known for their dynamic practice, technical depth, and welcoming atmosphere that brings together practitioners from different dojos and organizations.

The seminar will take place in Medellín, the second largest city in Colombia, widely known as the “City of Eternal Spring” thanks to its pleasant climate throughout the year. Surrounded by beautiful mountains and a vibrant cultural scene, Medellín offers a wonderful environment for both training and cultural exchange.

This event is conceived as an open meeting for all aikido practitioners, regardless of style, lineage, or organization, with the goal of sharing practice and strengthening the bonds of the aikido community across our region.

A pre-registration form is now available for those interested in attending.

Completing the form allows you to reserve your place in advance and helps the organizers support participants with travel logistics, especially those coming from outside Colombia.

Submitting the form does not commit you to participate, but it helps us better plan the event and provide information about travel, accommodation, and local logistics.

- Early registration fee: $180,000 COP

🟡 Regular Registration (until August 31, 2026):

- Kyu grades and Sub-30: $210,000 COP

- Dan grades: $230,000 COP

🔴 Last Call Registration (until the day of the event):

- Kyu grades and Sub-30: $230,000 COP

- Dan grades: $250,000 COP
