If you're new to the concept of our Los Angeles Friendship Class Series, in a nutshell, we feel that we as Aikido-ka have an opportunity (indeed, a duty!) to exemplify brotherhood and inclusion, despite examples of contention and division we see around us.



Although our door is always open to visitors, we sometimes make a concerted effort to encourage people of various backgrounds and affiliations to train and enjoy fellowship together. We invite various dojos and their instructor to share the mat with us - and hopefully, share some refreshments and conversation afterwards, too!



This practice will not only benefit the Los Angeles Aikido community in general, but also, you'll find that the more of a variety of people you train with, the more progress you'll make in Aikido.
