Kayla Feder Sensei started her Aikido training at the age of 9 and has trained continuously for 45 years. She has been uchi deshi to Morihiro Saito Shihan, 9th dan, Iwama, Japan. Her aikido is influenced by Doran Shihan, Nadeau Shihan, Saotome Shihan and Ikeda Shihan. She was promoted to the rank of 6th dan in 2004.

Kayla Feder Sensei teaches aikido seminars throughout the United States, Europe and the near East. Her teaching style is energetic and supportive and she pays much attention to the wholistic growth of each student.

She is the founder and head instructor of Aikido of Berkeley, California, USA.
