On October 25–26, 2025, I took part in a seminar in Prague led by Fujimaki Shihan from the Aikikai Hombu Dojo.

The journey began with my encounter with Tomáš, who had once been a trainee at Hombu Dojo. Even before becoming a trainee, he visited Japan every year without fail to train, and through those repeated visits we naturally became close.

He and his friends would often say, “You should come to the Czech Republic someday.”

If this had been just an ordinary sightseeing trip, I might not have felt such a strong pull. What truly motivated me was the fact that the annual Prague seminar would be taught by Fujimaki Shihan, to whom I am always deeply grateful.

The thought of training under a beloved teacher together with friends in the Czech Republic became the driving force behind this trip.

I had originally planned to visit in 2026, but due to family circumstances, the trip was moved up by a year.

2025年10月25日-26日。チェコ・プラハで開催された、合気会本部道場・藤巻師範のセミナーに参加してきました。

きっかけは、本部道場で研修生をしていたトマーシュさんとの出会いでした。

彼が研修生になる前から、毎年欠かさず日本へ稽古に来る姿を通じて、自然と仲良くなりました。

時間も費用も惜しまず日本へ足を運んでくれる彼やその友人たちから、「いつかチェコに来てね」と声をかけてもらいました。

ただの観光旅行なら、これほど強く惹かれなかったかもしれません。私の背中を押したのは、プラハで毎年開催されるセミナーの指導が、日頃からお世話になっている藤巻師範だったことです。

「大好きな師範のもとで、チェコの仲間と共に汗を流したい」——その強い想いが、今回の旅の原動力となりました。当初は2026年に訪ねる予定でしたが、家族の都合もあり、1年繰り上げての出発となりました。

A small reception will follow the presentation.

*The 19:00~20:00 Regular Class on the day will not be held.

東京では桜が満開。気温も暖かくなり、春の到来を五感で楽しむことができる季節になりました。

〇Lentestage 2026

開催日：4月10-12日

This morning, we needed to head to Seibukan before 8:30 so we could join the zazen session.

Since attending the 9:30–11:00 class would mean missing our hotel checkout time, we decided to bring all our luggage and meet in the hotel lobby.

Even though we had already become familiar with the route, everything feels different when you’re carrying bags.

Our luggage was only for three days, so it wasn’t too bad, but the New Zealand members were carrying three weeks’ worth of belongings.

Going up and down stairs naturally took more time.

G carried M’s bags without a single complaint, looking every bit the gentleman—as if to say, “This is a man’s job.”

今日は朝から座禅に参加させていただくため、8時半前にはせいぶ館に向かう必要があります。

その後、9:30〜11:00の稽古に参加するとホテルのチェックアウト時間を過ぎてしまうため、すべての荷物を持ってホテルロビーで待ち合わせをしました。

すでに慣れた道のりでも、荷物があると勝手が違います。

私たちは3日間だけの荷物なので大したことはありませんが、ニュージーランドメンバーは3週間分の荷物を持っているため、階段の上り下りにも時間がかかります。

GはMさんの荷物を代わりに運んでいて、文句ひとつ言わず「これは男性の仕事です」と言わんばかりの姿が本当にジェントルマンそのものでした。

せいぶ館の二階には、風呂とトイレが完備された広いスペースがあります。

海外から来た方が寝泊まりすることもあるそうで、木材で作られた空間は木のぬくもりが心地よく、安らぎを感じます。

Spring is becoming more noticeable day by day here in Tokyo, bringing a gentle lightness to the heart.

This year’s pollen levels are quite high, which must be difficult for those with allergies, but the thought of the cherry blossoms blooming soon fills me with excitement.
